my bike. class was good. i've gone to the gym five days in a row - trying to keep it going. thank god today she didn't play 'human wheels' by john smellycamp; she did play 'welcome to the jungle' and nadine told me the story of axel in whatever neighborhood having someone actually say the chorus to him. 'you're gonna die.'

03.02.2008: dr. charmichael
So this is where I went Tuesdays, sometimes Saturdays, for piano lessons. Today I drove by and noticed it was closed... it's owned by someone new, but looks 100% the same as in 1989. I love that weird random statue. This was the first shot I took, before I realized the reflection was distracting. In hindsight, I like this one more than the ones I corrected, which didn't have the reflection. The furry stuff in the shadow is my collar.
Through that little window on the right is where I would sit...

so cold.
i didn't know sun could be so bright it could cause the lens to reflect basically in... on itself. the red makes me remember that it was so cold out it hurt. i think it's pretty though.

purpose: to share my photos more often.
so i've never had a place to casually share photos, and get to know other people's work at the same time, or at least hear comments on what they see here. if you aren't a photographer, that's ok too. i'm glad you're looking.
i hope to post photos often enough that i can see myself and my work change and move around over time.
